Look up and lift up your heads
War
Jesus said that when He came, “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars” (Matthew 24:6). John also wrote in the book of Revelation, “ When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” 4 Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.” (Revelation 6:3-4)
Now, the above verses are being fulfilled. Israel and Hamas have also fought each other after the peace treaty ended. Russia and Ukraine have been at war for three years, and there is no sign of an end in sight. Europe is also increasing its military spending and preparing for war because of the US president’s estrangement. China is also increasing its military spending and waiting for a good time to invade Taiwan. Japan, which opposed the expansion of its military after World War II, is increasing its military spending and developing more weapons because of China and North Korea. The United States is also threatening Iran to abandon its nuclear weapons. It is saying that if they do not abandon their plans, they will take military action. Burma has also been fighting a civil war for four years.
Paul wrote to the Thessalonians, “Peace and safety!” Then sudden destruction will come upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman, and they will have no escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:3) In the mids of this, to those who are only concerned about their own marital affairs without knowing the situation around the world, I would like to use this bulletin to warn that the rapture is very near. The time of the great tribulation is approaching. It is time to know the time God has planned and prepare. How should we prepare?
Receive eternal Life
Receive eternal life that God has freely given. The Bible says, “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” (1 John 5:11-12) Have you received the eternal life that God has given you? If you have not received it, you can receive it now. Receive eternal life, which is his Son, Jesus Christ. How do you receive it? Christ said, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” (Revelation 3:20) He is knocking at the door of your heart. If you open the door of your heart to him, he will enter according to his promise.
How can you let him in? You can enter by praying like this.
Lord Jesus, I know that you are knocking at the door of my heart. I have opened the door of my heart. Come in as promised. Be Lord of my life. I surrender my life.
If you truly allow Him to enter, He will enter. He is not a man who lies. He will enter as promised. John wrote,"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life." (1 John 5:13)
Earthquakes
Jesus said, “In the days of my coming there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places” (Matthew 24:7). Earthquakes are very common now. On the 28th of this month, a 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit Myanmar, causing buildings to collapse in Sagaing, Mandalay, and Nay Pyi Taw, killing many people, and closing the Nay Pyi Taw and Mandalay airports. The famous old Sagaing Bridge was also broken into pieces. Thailand, India and China also experienced that earthquake and aftershocks. Therefore, we should not focus on, seek, or trust in earthly possessions.
This world is impermanent. Therefore, we should focus on the eternal kingdom of heaven. Christ advised, “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33) Do you accept what Christ advised? Not only is this world impermanent, but so are people. We grow old year after year. Do you realize that your life can end before the world ends? Human life does not belong to you. It is said that human life is like grass. We live for a short time and then die. Therefore, before your life ends, receive the eternal life that God has given you.
Why did God set this world to be destroyed? It is because God Himself initially created this world, but Satan now took possession of it (Luke 4:5). That is why Paul wrote, “The present evil is here” (Galatians 1:4). The writer of Hebrews wrote about the early believers, “the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.” (Hebrews 11:38). But for believers today, this world is a very pleasant place. How do you view the world? Are you still obsessed with it?
God himself is beginning to destroy
As an eagle stirs up its nest, hovers over its young, spreads out its wings, takes them and carries them on its wings, so the Lord alone carries Jacob. (Deuteronomy 32:11) Why does the eagle stir up the nest it has built? Because it does not want its young to remain in the nest forever. God built Egypt in the days of Joseph so that it would not be destroyed by famine. He himself called the Israelites to that land, but he did not want them to remain there forever, but to bring them into the land of Canaan, flowing with milk and honey. Therefore, he destroyed Egypt so that they would not cling to the land of Egypt. However, the Israelites did not accept God’s plan. They did not cling to Canaan, but to Egypt. The scriptures said, "Then they despised the pleasant land; they did not believe his promise. 25 They grumbled in their tents and did not obey the Lord. 26 So he swore to them with uplifted hand that he would make them fall in the wilderness, 27 make their descendants fall among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands." (Psalm 106:24-27)
The world will be destroyed by fire
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night. In that day the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are on it will be burned up. (2 Peter 3:10)
The following scriptures show that the greatest earthquakes that will occur during the great tribulation will occur. " I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake...14 The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place." (Revelation 6:12, 14) The angel took his censer and filled it with fire from the altar. And it was cast down to the earth, and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. (Revelation 8:5) And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the wall of the city fell. Seven thousand men were killed in the earthquake: and the rest were afraid, and gave glory to the God of heaven. (Revelation 11:13) Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since mankind has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. (Revelation 16:18)
According to the above verses, islands willl be removed, or will disappear: and mountains will also be removed. Now, these earthquakes have not yet happened. But why was it written 2,000 years in advance? For the God who created this world is the ruler of his world, and he can do as he pleases. And he can foretell future things. If man cannot endure the earthquakes which are now, how will he endure the earthquakes which are to come? If you do not want to experience these things, accept Christ as your Savior while there is still time, before it is too late. If you do, you will not have to fear them.
Look up and lift up your heads
The Lord Jesus said, “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:25-28)
Most people do not know or care about what the Lord Jesus is warning them about. Jesus is God. Like he said, this world will be destroyed. As he advised, we should look up and lift up our heads to see Him coming down from heaven.
